Countertops were an important choice for Barb.  The material chosen was "quartz-based." Silestone is a brand name in this product line.  This is one of the few Things Trey didn't build.  DKI, of St. Louis, measured and fabricated the materials, and Trey installed them.

There are three countertop sections.  One over the refrigerator cabinet, next to the bathtub; one over the drying cage, and the third below the control panel by the entrance.
