Full, Empty, ???

The Snake River monitor panels are calibrated after tanks and sensors are installed and contain fluid.  Details of calibrating the Ultra8 panel are contained in its manual, available here.

There is no electronic version of the Smart3 panel manual, so here is a description of the process.

Select Tank/Level

When ready, press and hold the tank selection button.  Then press either the E mpty or F ull buttons to set the meter. 

A note about tank levels at calibration...  Full is simple, fill the tank.  Empty is almost simple.  before calibrating the meter for the tank's empty reading, add fluid and drain the tank completely.  This will probably leave some fluid in the tank.  Then add enough fluid to raise the level one-half inch.  Then calibrate the meter.
