Primary Display Panel
This display panel shows the status of all monitored
devices, and is mounted in the grooming area. It can monitor eight
devices, however we use only five inputs. These include:
-
Fresh water top
-
Fresh water bottom
-
Gray water
-
Black water
-
LP Gas
Sensor Placement
Because the large fresh water tank is 64 inches tall, two
sensors are required. The sensors have a physical limitation of 30
inches in length. Again, because of tank configuration, this works out
to be essentially a "main" tank and "reserve tank configuration. The
top sensor reads the water level in six cylinders. The lower sensor
reads the level in the very bottom of the four short tanks and the two tall
tanks. The top sensor measures about 60 gallons and the bottom sensor
about 35 gallons. The tanks are vented and tied together, so they
maintain a common level as they drain and fill, or they equalize
fairly quickly. The picture below should clarify the tank
configuration and sensor location.

Panel Programming
Each input on the panel can be programmed to behave as
desired. The alpha-numeric display shows the name of the tank
monitored. There can be an audible alarm when the tank is empty.
The alarm can be disabled automatically based on day/night, actually
light/dark. However, all these settings are made at the factory and
are not changed by the owner.

Documentation Links
Some of the eight sensors are connected in parallel with a second panel.
Details of those input connections are shown
