From here to there...
The project has three power sources to distribute, generator
power, inverter power and 12 volt power. Everything is treated in a fairly
commercial/industrial way with conduit and lots of fuses.
AC Distribution
Three separate panels handle 110V distribution for
generator-only, inverter-only and mixed loads.
Get all the details here.
Rooftop
Three separate 3/4" conduits connect the rear equipment area
with the attic area over the cab, where most operator controls reside.
Under-carriage
There are two main connections running under the body.
These connections run through Seal-Tite, flexible, moisture-proof conduit.
The first run is from the generator back to the main
distribution panel in the rear.
The second run is the interconnection of the 12 volt systems
of the vehicle and the grooming batteries.
Surface Mount Raceway
The outlets and their supply in the grooming area use the
Wiremold On-Wall PVC system. This is a fairly easy to work with system
and looks OK, as nice as any surface-mounted system can. As PVC, it is
good for the humid workspace. Wiremold contact information:
