Sniff, sniff...  Do you smell gas?

For safety's sake, the system has a LP Gas detector to sense a gas leak and shut off the flow of gas from the tank.  The detector is mounted in the rear compartment, low, near the water pump.  A solenoid operated valve is mounted in the gas line, directly after the regulator, near the tank.

The device is a CCI Controls, Model 7719 detector and valve.  The instructions are available here as a PDF document .  Below is the basic installation diagram.

The diagram above shows two positive connections from two different batteries.  If only one source is used, as in our case,   One lead is not used, and it doesn't matter which one
